Survey findings and summary
After a two-month survey of over 6,000 small business owners nationwide, Thumbtack.com has released new data showing that Las Vegas earned top-10 finishes across multiple categories, including the friendliness of its regulations towards small businesses.
Some of the key findings for Las Vegas include:
- While Las Vegas businesses were among the nation's most troubled financially, they were also among the most optimistic about their prospects during the coming year.
- Surprisingly, male-owned small businesses in Nevada felt significantly more supported by the state than their female counterparts. Male entrepreneurs were 13% more likely than female entrepreneurs to rate Nevada as supportive or very supportive of small business.
