I was really down to crunch time when I found Vesta and she was like an angel a real blessing. Not only did she do excellent makeup at a great price, but she was just a pleasure to have with us as we were getting ready. She is an amazingly beautiful spirit. My entire bridal party including my mom all looked phenomenal. Vesta worked with all the varying complexions and made them look flawless. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her for any occasion.

Vesta is the best make up artist i've ever encountered. She did an awesome trial for my wedding which also happened to be the day of my bridal shower. My guests were in awe of how beautiful I looked. Furthermore, on the day of my wedding Vesta travelled to my home and did a phenomenal job on my mother, one of my bridesmaids, and of course myself. All of pictures were flawless for my wedding and it is in large part due to Vesta's brilliance as it relates to her craft. I would not hesitate to use her again in the very near future..

My experience with Vesta was absolutely amazing. I was a bride travelling from Canada to get married in NYC. Vesta contacted me very quickly and was eager to do my hair and make up. She set my mind at ease with whatever I asked of her. She did my hair exactly the way I wanted and she used her air brushing on me as well. I looked incredible because of her. She is reasonably priced but dekivers way more than she charges. I would recommend Vesta many many times over. She is an extremely talented artists and a joy to be around. Thank you Vesta!

In my search for my MUA I came across Vesta. When I saw her portfolio she had models of different ethnicities so you were really able to tell that she can work with diverse types of facial features and knew exactly how to accentuate them. When I contacted Vesta for a trial she got back to me right away and gave me the option of getting my trial done at her place or mine. Options are always a great convenience. When I had my trial with Vesta she was very nice, fun to talk to and the makeup was amazing. She understood my vision and listened to what I was looking for and did exactly what I wanted.
On the wedding day, she came to Queens and she was awesome. She got there on time and got started right away. There were a total of 7 of us, 6 bridesmaids and myself, the bride. She worked diligently and made sure each one of the girls, including me, was perfect for the day. She was really great with time management and she worked very efficiently. She really listened to each girl to find out what they liked but she made it that much better than any of us imagined.
My make-up on the day of was flawless. I didn’t think it was possible that it could be better than the trial but it was even better! I loved it so much I didn’t want to wash it off at the end of the night! I’ve seen some pictures from family members and friends and the makeup looks amazing in the photos. I can’t wait to see the photos taken by our photographer.

I hired Vesta to do my hair and makeup for my engagement photo shoot in Brooklyn, NY. Not only did she accommodate me when we had to postpone the photo shoot due to weather issues. She also listened and understood the vision I had for my look and gave me suggestions as we went along.
Vesta is a true professional who went above and beyond to make sure I was pleased with her service. She opened her home to my fiancé and I which offered great lighting for the applying of the make-up and A.C. (during the heat wave) to keep us cool I felt very comfortable with her instantly as she has such a warm and positive energy about her.
I would HIGHLY recommend Vesta to any bride to be or anyone wanting to look their absolute best for any occasion. My fiancé could not stop telling me how beautiful I looked.

Vesta did my hair and makeup for my wedding, and also for my maid of honor. I could not have been happier with Vesta's services and would recommend her to anyone!
I'll detail a few of the most outstanding aspects of working with Vesta, although I can't possibly list them all:
- Although she is a makeup artist by trade, she did a wonderful job with my hair (a french twist with fresh flowers and volume at the top) and charged MUCH less for it than I would have paid at a salon
- She offered her home to me, my wedding party, and my photographer for getting ready since the wedding was located a few short blocks away--so generous and made me feel so relaxed (not to mention that her apartment is beautiful and my photos will be great)
- After the trial, on the Big Day, she was very careful to check with me as she did my makeup to see whether or not I was happy with the few things I had asked her to change.
- She also gave me great advice after the trial, like suggesting I take omega-3 to moisturize my skin from the inside leading up to the wedding. It was really personal service, and she really tried to make sure that I looked my best.
- Although Vesta's tendency is to go a little heavier on the makeup than I would normally, she was careful to check with me at every step, showing me how the look was shaping up and asking if I wanted more blush, more eye liner, etc. I was comfortable speaking up since she asked, and in the end I got a look that I was extremely happy with.
I could go on, but in summary I'll just say that Vesta is a wonderful person with a great talent for makeup and a warm heart, and she truly cares about her clients. Highly recommended. Thank you, Vesta!

I planned a Marriage Celebration for my daughter via long distance and based my decision to use Vesta on online reviews - when you plan something like this long distance, internet usage becomes a necessity. What a wonderful experience! She was so much more than I expected. I explained our visions for what each of us wanted and gave her as much detail about ourselves as I thought would help. As soon as we met on the day of the event, I immediately felt that we were in good hands. My daughter wanted a hollywood glamour Marilyn Monroe look, while I wanted more of an Indian wedding look and she gave us exactly what we requested. She eased my daughter's mind regarding the airbrush technique, which I just loved! Our affair lasted 24 hours, from the moment of her last brush stroke until we finally went to bed. Through all those hours of rushing about, photography, dancing, sweating, eating, drinking, even smoking, our makeup remained perfect without even a reapplication of lipstick! Her experience is top shelf New York City, celebrities - and yet, she is so low key and humble about it all, so sweet and relatable. I feel that we got a tremendous value for what I consider a very reasonable price.

I am new to the area and was invited to attend a red carpet event in NYC. I knew there would be celebrities and paparazzi there, so of course I wanted to look stunning.
