Bio:
Daniele G. is a saxophone and piano specialist. He graduated from the Conservatory of Licino Refice in Frosinone (Italy) and earned a bachelor degree in music performance at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston.
Daniele Germani has always believed that music is a powerful tool to develop the creative and expressive potential of people and that it will always be a driving force in society, breaking down human barriers and uniting people. For him, this has been undoubtedly true.
Being a bandleader and having a working group for over eight years has allowed Daniele to grow both as a composer and arranger. In the year of 2019, he challenged himself to compose one tune per day. Today, he has written over 560 tunes, and he just released his debut record, A Congregation of Folks, on Gleam Records, March 2021. with his own quartet featuring his long-time bandmates: Justin Salisbury (piano), Giuseppe Cucchiara (bass) Jongkuk Kim (drums).
Today, he has traveled and performed in famous jazz festivals and clubs around the United States, South America, and Europe, such as Panama Jazz Festival with Dave Douglas Octet and the BGJI ambassadors, Umbria Jazz Festival in Perugia, Peperoncino Jazz Festival, Buenos Aires Jazz Festival, Cordoba Jazz Festival, Summer Time Casa del Jazz with David Kikoski Quartet, and George Garzone and Leo Genovese quintet. Since arriving in the United States, he has collaborated with many great musicians such as Leo Genovese, Dave Douglas, Kenny Werner, Bob Moses, Dave Kikoski, George Garzone, etc. Daniele is also one of the last students to be taught by jazz legend Lee Konitz before his passing in April 2020.

Incredible musician, patient teacher who makes it easier and fun to learn, always positive and supportive. I got my son a class as a birthday gift hoping he would at least appreciate music and three years later he still plays sax and see Daniele, without any forcing or pushing.

We hired Daniele and his trio (sax, piano, double bass) for a themed evening we had in Newport RI. The band were fantastic, exceeded our expectations and made our night a really memorable evening!
They had a great repertoire, which all ages enjoyed. They were friendly and extremely professional, easy to communicate with, making the whole experience a pleasure and uncomplicated.
I would highly recommend, and we hope to have them back in the future!
