Drum & Percussion Lessons With A Patient Pro

Provided by: Mike Shapiro

Into the World of Drums

I teach drums as opposed to owning a business or company. I started teaching as a natural offshoot of my having studied with some amazing drummers like David Garibaldi and Michael Carvin. Having a degree from Juilliard inspired me as well. I take what I have learned and what I use daily in professional playing situations and mold all that into my own teaching method.

Having been under the tutelage of great musicians, Mike Shapiro wants to pass on his skills to others who share his passion. His doors are wide open for beginners, intermediate-level learners and professionals alike. He even wrote a drum method book to help out budding musicians.

I teach to each individual's strength and weakness. My students learn what they need to learn and also what they want to learn.

Mikes offers a fun learning atmosphere. His lessons are conformed to each student's needs, and paces are set according to their level of progress.

If you have your heart set on learning drums, turn to the pro. Mike will turn your talent from good to great!
