- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $60hr/50(45min) for lessons in my home studio, $70/60 for lessons within a 45 minute commuting distance, and prorate a travel fee of $30/hr for additional travel.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always plan 6 goals with students at the beginning of the year! Three are my goals for their growth, 3 are theirs. Goals can include performances and competitions, small technical improvements, a new musical style, no goal is too small or big!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Originally from Mogi das Cruzes, Brazil, I was primarily self-taught before beginning my undergraduate studies (BMus Flute Performance) at SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Music under Tara Helen OConnor. I have completed graduate work at both New York University and Rutgers University, studying with Kathleen Nester and Bart Feller, and performed in masterclasses for William Bennett, Karl-Heinz Schutz, Keith Underwood, among others.
