Introduction: I specialize in the unique ability to connect with every audience I encounter. Live entertainment is about more than putting on a show. It's about making a connection between the entertainer and the audience. I get to travel the world, see beautiful places, meet interesting people - and do all of that while making a career out of what used to be only a hobby. I work in a creative field that rewards constant innovation.

"All you need to know is that it blew your fucking mind" -Michael Kent. He came to my introduction to theatre class at Ohio State and it was the most entertaining day of class I've ever had in my life and some of the stuff he did really did blow my mind. Also a pretty funny dude I'd love to see him perform again.

When you watch Michael's college show, it isn't a stage show with big illusions, lights, lasers, and sound effects. It is a simple "comedic conversation" where Michael does most of the talking, and just so happens to perform fantastic magic on the side. The audience feels involved and feels as if they have known Michael for years. He is a true performer that can work a crowd, and make audiences love him from start to finish.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

You may find that the fees for my show are quite a bit higher than my competition. While many other magicians keep a day job and do magic shows on the side, I am a full-time professional entertainer and my reputation and livelihood depend on delivering 100% worry-free professional entertainment. I have presented my show in 47 states, 16 countries, on board cruise ships, in more than 500 college campuses and for hundreds of top corporations. When hiring entertainment for your event, remember this cardinal rule: You get what you pay for. My job is to make YOU look like a hero.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

For corporate events, the most common thing I do is a combination of an after-dinner stage show (usually 45 minutes to an hour, depending on the client's wishes) and close-up strolling magic during the cocktail/reception hour.

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I spent Christmas and New Years overseas performing for our troops. Christmas Day was spent on a tiny remote island in the middle of the Indian Ocean entertaining 500 brave men and women in the United States Navy.
