I have been playing the saxophone for over 20 years and have picked the guitar up a couple of years ago. I fumbled around with the instrument and tried to apply what I know of the sax to the guitar and have found myself obsessed with the world of new possibilities. I signed up for my first lesson with Jeremy and really liked his approach of listening to what interests me about playing the guitar. We talked about several new approaches to some ideas that I have gravitated to on my own and he has left me to try them out to see which path we should head down in the lessons to come. I like his way of relating the musical ideas through our conversation and am very much looking forward to our next lesson!

Jeremy is a superb teacher. After five lessons with him, I am playing jazz chord melody arrangements that I never dreamed I could execute. Jeremy explains complex musical ideas in language I can understand. When we're working on a song I not only learn how to play it but also what makes the song tick, and how I can apply that knowledge to other situations. He is patient, has a great sense of humor, and seems to know exactly what I need to learn next. I appreciate that he allows me to progress at my own pace and offers multiple techniques for achieving a particular playing goal so that I can find the approach that works best for me. I come away from each lesson fired up with new ideas that I'm eager to bring to the fretboard.
