Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. The jobs I do most are Installing new swing sets, But I have my fair share of moving old sets that people sell and I move it for the new owners yard.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. A lot of people say, It`s just a swing set, NO it`s not. It`s some thing that`s gonna be in your family for many years to come and you need some one to install it properly not just any Carpenter. And I gonna be straight up when I say, It is better if you do buy the better swing sets for example, Kids Creations, Ceder Summit, Rainbow, or Playnation, for the simple fact that it is made to out last your kids childhood and holds it`s value to resell when your kids out grow it.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. There is know secrets if you don`t know what your doing you should just let the pros do the job for you. Thats like me if I didn`t know how to program a computer I`m not going to I`l call a pro. so that it`s installed the right way.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Some things you should have in mind before buying a swing set or calling me, what is your yard like and how much money are you looking to spend. Is the yard flat, semi flat, slopped a little, or slopped a lot? How big the set is and the space you want to take up in your yard. Are you putting mulch down or not, There are a lot of thing to consider when making your decision. There are many different sets out there to choose from for every yard. Most people just buy what they want and think that it will work, well it don`t work that way.If you have a slopped yard then a castle set would work best for you, If a flat yard then both castle and clubhouse will work. All depends on your yard. Just give it some thought before buying, and call me for info if you need to.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I put my heart and soul into all my jobs, I think safety 1st I have 4 kids of my own an I build every swing set is if it was for my own babies. I been doing this for 13 years now and I know from passed exp. from other customers that tell me I should have hired you instead of a carpender that has no exp. with swing sets but think they can do the job. They end up under biding the job thinking it will take 4 hours till they get into it and then want to charge you more. Yes it does take me 4 to 5 hour but the job gets done safe and right.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I do the job to the factory saticfactions and the best safety for your kids.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. ais the swing set I choose the best one even though I only paid $400. for it, I say (if it is a good set) yes you did but if i know of a better deal out there I let them know about it even though it mite cast them a few more bucks it worth it for lasting them alot more years and get a better warranty out of it. There are alot of swing set companies out there and yea there good sets to choose from but how long do you want them to last is the ?

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. Hahaha I was on a job 1 day and it was pooring down rain and I was under the swing set trying not to get wet and the little girl opened the door and yelled ( Hey what are you doing get back to work on my swing set I WANT TO PLAY WHEN THE RAIN IS DONE)

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. I don`t take short cuts to get the job done faster, and very honest when asked, (what do I think of curtain swing sets and companies.) Or what do I recommend. Safety is always first in my book, I have 4 kids of my own and I build all sets as if it was for my kids.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. It`s kinda a long story but to make it short, I found a job Installing swing sets and I loved it for a long time till my boss started getting greedy and my pay was going down instead of up. I started to hate getting up in the morning and going to work just to get less money. I quit my job and got started on my own and now I love it again like I did when I first got into it.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. I am proud of all my jobs, the best part of the job is when it`s completed and we get to see the kids play on some thing that we built and was not there when they got out of bed that morning.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. I`m always looking in the stores to check out the new models of swing sets, they always change from year to year.

A. I price my jobs at a flat rate by how long it takes me to install each set, it`s not by the hour.
