- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I just released by fourth solo album which is called "Livin' in the Grave". It features Grammy winning Austin guitar legend Eric Johnson on a dueling instrumental called Solid. Playing with world class musicians is a phenomenal learning experience. All of my professional experience lends to the guitar player that I am and what I can teach my students.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
There are a lot of guitar instructors that have music degrees. What I offer is real world experience as a professional musician since I was 8 years old. If you are a beginner, I can help you learn basic chords and develop your ear for music. If you are an advanced player, I can help with lead improvisation and song arrangement. There is no chart reading here. I teach to learn by ear which I find allows students to eventually transition into band settings.
