Introduction: I've been playing Music for about 25 years and have massive an enormous catalog of over 300 songs ranging from Motown to country, pop, rock, hits form the 60's 70's 80's 90's 2000's and modern. Growing up in music I've learned at an early age to carry a professional but fun personality As a veteran of the music industry I enjoy all the different faces that go into a good show from on stage to front of house and behind the scenes. Beware of Myke Miller!!! We contracted with Myke Miller for a performance on October 22nd and were really looking forward to having him perform. Per the contract we signed with him we must provide notice to cancel the contract 14 days before the performance in order to be refunded. On October 3rd Myke was informed the 22nd was no longer a valid date for us. That is 20 days of notice. On the 9th we asked Myke if he could perform on another date we had chosen, on October 29th, and he stated he was not available. We accepted that we would have book another performer and when he would refund of our deposit of $225 since he was provided notice 20 days before the event and Myke has refused to refund our deposit even after given 20 days notice. He states we did not cancel with 14 days of notice yet it was well over 20 days of notice. Contracting with Myke Miller is a bad choice for anyone since he does not honor his own contract. I cannot speak to his musical performance as we have not actually heard him in person but I can speak on his moral and business performance and that is unprofessional and lackluster at best. If you value the safety of your money and a contract you should look elsewhere for a performer! Beware of Myke Miller!

I apologize you all feel this way. Please review the insert from the contract you signed below. "Cancellation: All deposits and fees are non refundable. A minimum of 14 days notice will be required for cancellation of this performance contract. Any cancellation made with less than 14 days notification prior the to the agreed upon Performance Date will result in full payment from Buyer to Myke Miller. If the Performance cancellation is initiated by Myke Miller, all monies paid to the Artist by the Buyer shall be fully refunded, including any deposits made to the Artist. Any refunds due shall be paid out by the Artists management at the months end. " It's unfortunate the date of your event had to be moved to another date that was not available.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to be fair with all of my clients each one will have different needs and different amenities as well as budgets so it try to be as flexible as possible. I will however never take a job I don't think I can fulfill.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After looking at the Job opportunity. I will reach out the client. I like to open a dialog and create an environment where they feel comfortable asking open ended questions so we can figure out exactly what they need and exactly what I need to provide for an enjoyable event.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
25 years of experience performing live. An associates degree in Radio Broadcasting and Sound engineering. Self Taught on the guitar but Classically trained in vocals.
