Mac Reed is the real deal! I hired Mac to do the bookkeeping, payroll, and tax preparation for my business and I can honestly say he has done a wonderful job.
Also, Mac takes the time to explain the work he is doing to me so that I can truly understand my financials. Went for my appointment and was totally surprised. I was NOT expecting to sit down RIGHT there and have him put in all the information from the paperwork I brought during the appointment. But that's what he did. I have been so used to dropping off all my paperwork with the CPA and having that person file for an 4/15 extension and we end up going over to the office to review and sign the form, pay her, etc. Not with Mac. I sat there , he did the tax forms, etc. and I knew what I was going to owe the IRS before I left the office. I paid him. The only thing I had to do was fax a signature form to him the next day as my husband wasn't there with me. He honored the estimate he quoted originally when he contacted me even though I wasn't expecting that either. I figured he'd end up charging more, but he didn't. I highly recommend him. If you aren't organized however, you might end up leaving information with him. I had all our paperwork with us as I had reviewed his checklist before I went. I will be back next year with him. I also like he's a IRS Enrolled agent. thanks Mac

Enrolled agent status is the highest credential the IRS awards. Individuals who obtain this elite status must adhere to ethical standards and complete 72 hours of continuing education courses every three years.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I typically offer bookkeeping, payroll, and tax preparation services for small business owners. In addition, I also provide business coaching for each of my clients at no charge. It's one thing to have someone print a financial statement. It's truly another thing to have someone sit down with you and have you understand the impact the numbers will have on your business going forward.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
In 2014, I recently helped two small businesses achieve over $1 million in sales. This made me especially proud because those two businesses started with me as startups a few years prior. The business owners used my coaching advice in establishing a foundation for their financial and operational success.
