Question and answer
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. If I was to hire a contractor, I would first ask the paint store (i.e. Sherwin-Williams), who they would recommend. I might also ask my neighbors if they have anyone they might recommend. Word of mouth is the best advertising for a contractor.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Yes, the quality of the paint is key in a lot of circumstances. The higher quality of paint, the better the coverage and the better the finished product will look. If a painter is using the "contractor grade", it will normally take numberous coats of paint and the finish will not look uniform.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. First, how long have you been in business? Second, would you mind providing a list of people you have done work for? Finally, what products and/or paint brand do you intend on using to do the job?
