We listened to your feedback, and took some steps to simplify how you find and adjust your account settings.
One piece of feedback we’ve heard from Thumbtack Professionals is that the options for finding how to turn off notifications, or stop receiving requests outside your travel area, or for adjusting what types of requests you get, could be a little hard to use—and sometimes hard to find.
To simplify this, we’ve taken all of those settings that used to live in several locations and put them all in one easy-to find spot.
As you can see below, now when you click on “Settings”, you’ll immediately see the four main ways to access and adjust all your important Thumbtack info: Account, Request Types, Travel Preferences, and Notifications.
In addition to that, we also added some easy-to-operate sliders that’ll let you clearly see (and easily change) which options you’ve turned on, and which ones you’ve turned off.
