Becky Nothstine says, "Well, I could write a book about our experience but I wont (cause I dont have the time) so I will provide highlights.Derrick came out and provided a quote (we had 5 in total) and he was so knowledgable about everything and had some great ideas along our sme lines we decided to go with NKBA. We were quoted with kitchen remodel, removing a wall in between living and dining room and adding a butlers pantry.1 week before we were to start demo our 57 yrs old pipes failed (which we knew was going to happen) and I was frantic. I called Derrick and he said no worries, we can do that too, so we had to add total house re-pipe to our project. This is now basically a whole house remodel (except the 3 bedrooms) but we were going to be without water or bathrooms for awhile so we settled on 3 weeks for that portion of the project and we rented an RV and parked it in the back yard.As with any remodel or house construction you can expect issues. We had to add whole house electical wiring and re-pipe of incoming water through our attic. (at this point we were all in) Well there were some inhouse issues going on with NKBA at the time also and we just happened to fall into the middle of that with our project. We had communication issues, problems with not knowing who was coming and then when they showed up we couldnt communicate with them. We became very frustrated with the whole thing about 8 weeks in but Khalid then stepped in and was very good about talking with us.The live savers of the project at the end were Joel and Javier, they are masters of their trade and they do everything. They helped get all the issues that we had cleared up and fixed.There were more things that happened that I will not bore you with but I will say that when we went to Khalid with our issues he made a point of getting it fixed for us. He wants to make sure you are happy and in the end we are very happy with the way it all turned out. Sarah was also always available if we needed something and worked her best to get the correct person to address.We now have a new home and we love it. I would recommend NKBA for your construction/remodel needs. Just keep in mind that things happen, but they will take care of it."See more
