We had a French drain installed (by another company) and then needed someone to come fix all the walls and floors in our basement. We talked with a couple of contractors and we felt comfortable with this one and the price was better than most others. Once they got into the repair it was found that the repair was much larger than we could see. They were able to make all the additional repairs with only one extra days work. They did a good job and my walls and floors look like they should. My only issue was that there was a miscommunication where I expected them on Friday but they wanted to make sure everything was dry so they were not coming on Friday. They finished the job on Monday.

Hi everyone, if you are looking a remodeling company to help finish off your basement (or any other potential home project), I would like to suggest J. Gill Construction. Out of all the contractors that we ever worked with, J Gill Construction was the most amenable, enthusiastic and competitive contractor we had the pleasure to hire. From our initial conversation to the day it was completed; J Gill worked patiently with us. He understood how to make our budget work best for our needs and successfully delivered. He devised a great design with our input, and even thought of ideas/suggestions that we didn’t think of before. I could tell from the start that their suggested design elements advocated for us as the customer and what we wanted for a final design as opposed to adding design elements that benefited their bottom line. During the entire construction process, they were incredibly responsive to any questions or concerns we had and went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy with the process throughout. The workers that came to our house to complete the work were respectful, polite, hardworking and a joy to talk to. I would definitely work with J. Gill Construction again and have already recommended them to our closest neighbors. If you are in search of creative and quality work, give them a call.
