Juana D. says, "Gene is a blessing in disguise. My regular cat sitter for almost 18 years was not able to continue her services due to health issues. On January of 2023, I had a planned trip to visit my parents and I was in a need of an emergency cat sitter. This is where Gene comes in and saves the day.
We live in the same building and have been neighbors for over 22 years. When I was looking for a new cat sitter, I remembered he loves animals. I asked him if he could emergency cat sit Laverne and Shirley and he said yes.
He would see them twice a day. He would give them their wet food, make sure they had water, and he would leave their cat litter clean on every visit. I never asked him to do this, but he would leave the clean empty cat food cans on my counter, so I can see that the girls ate.
He has sent me pictures and/or video of my girls on numerous occasions to show how much fun he is having with them. If he saw something unusual with the girls, he would call and/or send a video to let me know of the situation. Up to this day, everything has gone well for him and my cats.
In fact, on one of my vacations he had to deal with Shirley who was recovering from surgery. He gave her medicine as scheduled and took great care of her. I am so grateful for his help with Shirley. I know that she was in great hands, which allowed me to celebrate my 60th birthday in Orlando with my best friends from high school.
I would highly recommend Gene as your next cat sitter. He has gone from my emergency call to my regular cat sitter. I trust him to come into my apartment and take care of Laverne and Shirley. You will not be disappointed. I promise."See more
