NAEMT TCCC is an intensive program developed for combat medic operations with a special focus on utilization of Field IV Kits, application of tourniquets, performing emergency assisted respiration via needle decompression, utilizing extraglottic airway devices, initiating intraosseous infusions, along with intravenal administration of Tranexamic Acid as a clotting agent and Ketamine for pain management.
As a member of the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians and licensed Remote-EMT (CAPCE Accredited Remote EMT Certification), certified CPR/AED Professional Rescuer, and Basic Life Support provider Daniel is an versatile tactical first responder well prepared to perform specialized and immediate emergency medical management including, but not limited to patient logistics, oxygen administration/airway management, respiratory/cardiopulmonary emergencies, thoracic and cranial trauma, musculoskeletal injuries, anaphylaxis, and various stages and types shock.
In addition to these scenarios Daniel is experienced in assessing and developing hazard response and control plans for mass casualty incidents, with a focus on cold and heat emergencies and illness or injury resulting from altitude, immersion, and submersion. Daniel’s experience in tactical emergency management is further highlighted by extensive security trainings. With years of medical training Daniel provides insightful perspective while leading ground level medical triage operations.
