Dr. Carla has been working with my fiancée and myself for over 3 months in couples counseling. I went into this session believing i knew what I wanted and needed and probably seeking validation for those beliefs. Scott turned all of it upside down, sideways and inside out. He asked me questions that helped me to re-examine my thoughts and feelings- not to discount them but to look more deeply into the hows and whys and what ifs. I am not sure I've ever felt so challenged which is a very good thing.
He is a true intuitive empath. I only had to say a couple of things before he started getting to the roots of the true problem. He doesn't give you answers. Those lie within but he gives you the quidance to help you seek a deeper true. Your truth.
As a therapist, I can say honestly that I gained more insight in a single session than I have in months with other counselors and wish I had taped our session so that I might borrow some of his probing questions to use with my own clients. I am deeply grateful for Scott's wisdom and method of stripping away the extraneous questions that kept me from seeing the bigger picture. I know that I will be returning to continue on my journey.
