Coming from a Japanese term that actually means "empty orchestra", karaoke has become a staple when it comes to a night out in town because everyone has the innate singer-wannabe in them. And when it comes to karaoke and DJ services, Don and Eve's Karaoke & DJ covers any event.
Known to their regular clients as "Mom" and "Pop", Donald and Eve Yingling is a husband-and-wife team that offers professional karaoke and disc jockey services for a memorable partying experience.
I work the console and the DJing; and Eve works with the people, helping them find songs and keeping a list of what we don't have that people want so we can get it later.
Unlike other DJ companies out there, they have everything on disc.
We do carry a laptop with us but that only has the songs lists on it so it is faster to find a song, disc and track number. No wi-fi downloads.
They also offer B.Y.O.D. (Bring Your Own Disc) events as they are happy to play your discs if they don't have the songs you want to play.
We want to make people feel welcome and happy around us. We want people to have fun.
