Gonzalo was great! My husband and I hired Gonzalo to help us with our wedding dance. We both had very limited dance experience. With 5 lessons from Gonzalo over a couple of months, we totally rocked our wedding dance! He was also very flexible with our schedules, and was able to reschedule as needed given fair notice.

We loved Gonzalo! He was friendly and funny and easy to work with. He assessed where we were to start and tailored his lessons to build on that. He was great at explaining concepts in different ways and showing us what he meant, working with each of us separately (he can both lead and follow with ease!) We met about once a week for about six months, in our home. The last couple weeks we met at our outdoor wedding venue and danced on the patio that would serve as our dance floor. We'll miss seeing him regularly! Everyone loved our first dance, and our second dance (a "flash mob" with our wedding party and friends) and Gonzalo was a big part of that success. Highly recommend!

Wow! We made the best choice in Alina as a dance instructor. Dance lessons were my favorite part of the whole wedding planning process. I looked forward to it every week and I also loved practicing in between. Alina is a real teacher and choreographer. There is structure to the one hour lesson. We learned basic steps individually with her leading us, then she wove those steps into a dance using our chosen song, then she would make sure we repeated it enough times to commit it to memory and give us recommendations/corrections. In the last 5 minutes of class she had us do the dance one more time full out while she video taped it on my phone. This was so helpful because then if we forgot anything we could go back to the video.
Alina was very personable, but I say that she's a real teacher because she knows how to get down to business and make progress within the one hour class. We didn't waste any time and we made so much progress in just 4 classes.
My partner was not as enthusiastic as me from the beginning, but my partner said she wished that we had started earlier and booked 10 lessons. I watched my partner's confidence grow over the course of the 4 lessons which was really a bonus for both of us and I attribute that to Alina's guidance and instruction.
I am certain also that Alina can choreograph dance after dance even in her sleep. Her mind is filled with dance moves and she's able to quickly and expertly weave them together for the dance. We handed her music at our first lesson that she hadn't had a chance to listen to yet, and she didn't even skip a beat in choreographing the dance. It's impressive.
I highly recommend Alina for any couples getting married. You won't be disappointed!!

Gonzo is a fabulous teacher! He is patient, kind, and professional. His close attention to detail and friendly approach make it fun and easy to learn. In just a few lessons, Gonzo has transformed us from inexperienced, clumsy dancers, into confident, graceful partners who are looking forward to showing off our new moves during the first dance on our wedding day. I would definitely recommend anyone to work with Gonzo, he's just great!
