Evan’s teachings are based on classical technique, with the purpose of promoting vocal endurance and power, as well as warmness and uniqueness of tone. Through his own performance experience, Evan has found that this technique can be shifted to fit perfectly into any genre. During his own training, Evan’s mentors have included Marlena Malas at The Juilliard School, as well as soprano Renée Fleming and baritone Elliot Madore. Evan also offers tutoring services for subjects such as music theory, ear training, and sight-singing. Further offerings include dramatic monologue/dialogue coaching, whether the student is looking to secure a role or prepare for upcoming rehearsals; and audition preparation, which is done through an encouraging feedback process that inspires and empowers the performer.
