Unleashing the Powerful Voice Within
Tina Smothers began teaching private voice lessons since her high school days. Seeing her ability to sing, her teacher motivated her, which made her start to sing songs when she was in college. She started from scratch when she moved to another location, but was lucky enough to get clients quickly because of her talent. She has been teaching in Duedin for about two years and now has a full studio.
Most of my clients are teenagers and young adults who [want] to start a music career. I give lots of performance opportunities, which is different from a lot of other vocal and piano coaches.
Vonabell Sherman is her most favorite and successful project to date. She, Vonabell and another person wrote a song about the book "Tiger's Curse" by Colleen Houke that is currently being raved about. She has a music video that is soon to come out on YouTube, and the song is titled Kelsey's Lament.
I personalize each lesson to that particular student. I think each of my students feel special and know that I am there to help them and tailor fit the lesson to meet their needs.
