Introduction: While I have been a certified Personal Trainer for more than 5 years, I have been working out since I was a child. Nothing fascinates me more than the amazing human body. I always stay ahead of the curve as far as learning new techniques & exercises & advancing healthier living. I also have a nurturing gene, & love helping people. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I give discounts to those that can meet me at the Abingdon Planet Fitness location.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First off, I do ask a lot of questions. Not to be intrusive, but to cater to exactly what the client wants. My first questions revolve around medical history & if there are any contraindications to exercise. I then ask about any prior exercise experience; what went well, what didn't, why you stopped, prior Personal Training,location, obstacles & social support. Lastly, I inquire about the client's goals... in the present & in the future.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm an ACE Certified Personal Trainer & ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor. By the end of the summer, I will have certifications in Senior Fitness, Boot Camp Training & Pilates Training.
