- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? The first thing I like to do is get to know my customers, and I find that the best way to do this is by having a phone conversation. In this conversation we can exchange all of the important information we'd need in order to move forward with our photoshoot. This also helps with that first time we meet, which is oftentimes the same time we have the shoot! If that's not possible, I'll send the client that info: including information on what to expect before, during, and after the shoot, deliverables, terms, a proposal of packages / a quote, and any questions I may have in order to plan properly for the shoot. Once onsite we can get to know each other and then I can calmly guide you through the posing process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a self-taught photographer of over 7 years, specializing in event, family, and high concept art photography.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?My background is in live concert photography, as I worked for over 5 years as a traveling photojournalist. I eventually began to spend more time off the road, producing studio shoots such as portraiture, family, culinary, and product photography.
