Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: My mission as a coach is to help you define goals, achieve them, and LOVE the journey. I provide a nonjudgmental, purpose-driven environment, built from earned trust and understanding, where you can feel free to self-explore and re-discover yourself from a fresh, enhanced perspective. I’m a believer in an inside-out approach, where we start by focusing on your core, your energy, and your perspectives and filters, so that you can become perpetually effective in bringing success and fulfillment into everything you do. We don't only work on specific challenges, but on you as a whole with the idea in mind that “who you are” is even more powerful than “what you do.” Good coaching can transform lives. I've seen it with my clients. I've seen it in my own life. I'm someone who wanted to be a coach but didn't think that I really "needed" coaching myself. Let's just say I completely underestimated the positive effects it would have on every aspect of my life. I love bringing that same experience to other people. Coaching not only helps people achieve specific goals, it changes the trajectory of their lives. Each small success enhances your entire path forward, creating openings for new successes, which then in turn further enhance your path forward and create new openings. I think of it as the "compound interest" of the human spirit!

Doing coaching work with David was a very helpful experience. He’s a super down to earth, kind, smart, articulate and approachable person. We started off with me answering a series of questions that let him know things about my attitudes and life outlooks. Then we spent some time talking about what these answers suggested about my current habits of thinking — the way they were serving me and the way they might be holding me back. This was pretty cool because it mean that in subsequent sessions we had a shared vocabulary, or a sort of short cut method, to talk about actual obstacles I was encountering in my life. And honestly, I found them comforting because they helped me see how my stuck points were in some ways universal and something I could work on in concrete ways. Knowing this made it easier for me to accept that a lot of this information (like how I can drop into negative thinking) did resonate with me and was something I should really look at and consider. In the next sessions we talked about specific issues happening in my life. Like I mentioned before, because we had taken the time to set up a shared vocabulary of terms it felt quicker than I expected to identify how my feelings in this particular instance were tied to my overall habits of thinking and reacting. So we were kind of talking about a specific situation, but also talking about my general orientation towards things and if that was serving me well. In this way, I kind of felt like he was teaching me a skill I can continue to apply to new situation. One thing that surprised me was how the conversations felt comfortable moving between more career oriented topics (less personal) and more personal topics (maybe stuff I’d think I would only talk to a therapist about). Since these topics often are intertwined in our lives, it was helpful to be able to weave both into a session in a way that felt safe and easy. Throughout our sessions, I found David to be very thoughtful, professional and skilled. I am so glad I found him and have him as a resource. Because he is able to work with me over the phone, it’s so nice to know he’s only a phone call away. If you’re looking for a Life Coach I highly recommend checking him out.

I am pleased to write this recommendation for David Peters. He has a pleasant personality and demeanor. As an individual, he possesses a high level of integrity and honesty. As a coach, David helped me see what was holding me back, see people for who they are without judgement, how to live in the present, and self-acceptance. He is a powerful force of brilliant insight, direction and getting you to get the most out of what you are struggling with. I am eternally grateful to have met David Peters.

David is a very kind and compassionate person, which are just some of the things that make him a wonderful life coach. I reached out to him because I was feeling "stuck" and unsatisfied with certain areas of my life and myself. He opened my eyes to a new way of viewing situations and also helped me be more aware of not only others, but my own actions and reactions to things. Since then, I carry this awareness differently and it allows me to feel more connected and at peace within. David gives great advice and is an excellent listener, which is a lost art form these days. I highly recommend reaching out to him!

David's coaching has taken my self awareness...and therefore my life...to a whole new level. He has a tremendous ability to comfort, guide and support through a variety of circumstances. I have felt at ease trusting and communicating with him since my very first session. He is easy to talk to, honest, empathetic, wise, non-judgmental, a great listener, and extremely genuine. You will be challenged and highly rewarded. David's coaching will take you on an incredible journey; a journey that is truly life changing.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our coaching relationship always begins with a free exploratory session to see if coaching is the right approach for you and if the relationship is a good match in both directions. Sessions are most commonly held over the phone once per week for 60 minutes each. Since personal change is rarely achieved in an instant, my suggested coaching packages are usually 8-12 sessions, but this is decided on an individual basis since each situation is so unique. Another great tool I offer is the Energy Leadership Index Assessment. This is one of my favorite coaching tools because it instantly provides information, insights and new perspectives to clients. It can also help the coaching relationship move forward faster, getting better results in less time. I offer it in my coaching packages but it is also available ala carte for $200. For someone uncertain whether coaching is right for them, it's a great way to get your feet wet.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

The first step I take with potential new clients is to hold a free, 60 minute exploratory session over the phone so that I can understand exactly what they feel they're struggling with and what they would like to achieve in our time together. This is a great way for both of us to find out if coaching is the right approach for them and if we'd be a good match through the process.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

On top of my coaching and personal experience, I am a Certified Professional Coach and Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner certified through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC). It is one of the most robust and respected training programs in the world.
