FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have priced my services to be affordable for most couple's budget. If it is a last minute thing, or if I must travel a much longer distance for the ceremony, I will include that in the bid I present to them. So no hidden costs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The couple contacts me either by phone call or text message. I ask most of my questions at that time and allow them to voice any concerns they may have. I immediately set up a convenient time to meet with them, to get all the details worked out. I always ask if I need to be present for the rehearsal. I prefer to be, in case of any last minute or unforseen changes, but it's not always necessary. I keep in close contact with the couple whether it be months or days from the day they hire me, until the wedding day. I help with the day-of preparations, making sure everything is in place (especially the rings). I try to take as much stress off of the couple as I possibly can.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked closely with several couples with all aspects of the wedding. I started actually officiating the weddings so that I could give couples a break with pricing. The officiant is sometimes the last person the couples think about when planning their big day. By then, their budget is stretched to the limit.
