- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rates start at $1.00 PER AUDIO MINUTE for a single voice speaking English. This rate only increases if the number of speakers increases, the audio is poor, or the speaking accents are heavy. Please visit my website to receive a more detailed quote for your specific needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process is simple. A client can go to my website to get a free quote or click on the ORDER FORM tab on the top of the page. After receiving this, I will send a more detailed quote based on their needs as well as a contract for services. In my experience, if a file is too large to send over email, Dropbox is an easy and effective transfer system. I will transcribe the file in a client's allotted timeframe and email the completed transcript. I email clients invoices via PayPal after completion. These can be paid with a PayPal account, and eCheck, or a Credit/Debit Card. It's as simple as that! I look forward to making your business my business and begining this journey with you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received both a business degree and a mass communications bachelor's degree as my formal college education. After being in the business world for ten years, I decided to try something new and furthered my education with a full online transcription course certification. I found this was the perfect decision for my way of life and have enjoyed full-time transcription work since then.
