- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have a basic guideline on pricing depending on the job. The quote can be $/gallon for painting or $/sq. ft for carpentry and masonry, occasionally we do a time and material system if that works best for the client.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to initially make contact and provide a rough estimate to the best accuracy possible with the given information provided by the client. It is complicated to completely give an accurate bid through Thumbtack without seeing the project. Next, we schedule a date and time to meet the client and visually inspect the task at hand. Finally, we discuss.different options and figure out a reasonable quote that works best for both the client and ourselves.
