Introduction: I have been a hairstylist for over 30 years. I provide hair services for the entire family. I provide many hair services, including haircuts, hairstyling, coloring, highlights, permanent straightening and even updos/styling for special occasions. I have enjoyed working with hair since I was in high school. I have worked in severals salons in the North Shore area. I love working with people and being creative with their hair. My specialty is hair coloring. I enjoy doing highlights, low lights and being creative with hair color.

Hi, I've been friends with Paula and her family for many years. It's great I get to combine visits with her coloring & cutting my hair. She does an awesome job! I'd rather travel to someone I know and trust to do my hair. However, I know she'll also arrange her schedule to go to clients. I know I appreciated this a lot when I was on crutches. Plus, it's pretty convienent that she can do haircuts for the whole family. She's very creative and did some beautiful hairstyles for a girly birthday Princess Party. She took the time to discuss with each little princess what ideas they liked for they're very grownup and stylish up-dos as well as braidings. It wasn't just the Birthday Girl who had a special day :)

Single process hair color is always great. Highlights are wonderful, and reasonably priced. Most haircuts are good, some are great, but sometimes sections are missed. Her salon area is always clean and neat. All in all she provides welcoming really good services.

Paula is the only hairdresser my daughter has been to and Paula's patience with child clients is wonderful! I've been a client of Paula's for a couple of years and I'm very pleased. Paula has a flexible schedule and very reasonable prices. Two thumbs up!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
no. I have fair pricing and do quality work for reasonable prices. Prices vary depending upon length and thickness of hair especially with colors, highlights and permanent straightening and hair styling.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will sit with client first to find out what they want to do with his/her hair. I want to find out what the goals are for the client's hair.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my cosmetology license in 1985 and have worked in several salons in the North Shore area of MA over the past 30 years. I have attended many workshops and continue my education in various areas related to hair. I have been trained with Aveda and Goldwell for coloring and haircuts and also in Bio Ionic Straightening.
