Megan Elizabeth

Introduction: Megan Elizabeth is a singer, songwriter, and musician from Ramsey, MN. Megan plays a variety of music from Tracy Chapman to Katy Perry, along with her own pop/rock style of original songs. In June of 2015 Megan received 1st in the singing category at the national Industry Network competition in LA. She was cast as the lead in the musical showcase directed by Scott Calcagno, the casting director of the Broadway musical The Lion King, for that very same competition. After releasing her self-titled EP at the age of 14, Megan was signed with Indasoul Entertainment to record her next CD. Megan has been described as “A fresh new voice with great intensity without being melodramatic. She is a very talented musician who rises to the top of any crowd. Very enjoyable to listen to.” Megan released her first self-titled EP at the age of 14 that was produced by Darrell Briscoe. Briscoe has worked with artists such as Paul McCartney, Lou Reed, Boyz II Men, and Aretha Franklin. Megan started working with Briscoe at the age of 13 on artist development and later on her first CD; before signing a recording contract with Indasoul Entertainment. In June of 2015 Megan attended the Industry Network competition in LA where she received top 10 in every category. Along with receiving top 10, Megan received 1st in singer of the year, and TV beauty. She also received 2nd in Monologue and 3rd in Actor of the year. Megan was also cast as the lead in the musical showcase at that very same competition. The showcase was casted and directed by Scott Calcagno, the casting director of the Broadway musical The Lion King. The Industry Network competition was also where Megan met Marc Williams the president of Indasoul Entertainment, who she later signed with, to record her next CD and work towards her dreams of being a known musician. After releasing her self-titled EP at the age of 14, Megan has been playing all over the Midwest, by herself, and with her band “The Megan Elizabeth Band”. She has played at venues such as Nicollet Mall, Ramsey Happy Days, Mill City Nights, 318 Café, Forada Days, Minnesota State Fair, Station 4, St.Croix Falls Music on the Overlook, and various other street dances, private parties, and venues. I love the fact that music is one of the only things that can inspire and impact people in the way that it does. There is something about the goosebumps you get when you know that the song you just sang impacted every person in the audience in some way. The inspiration that you get from just a line of a song is something that cannot be given in any other way.
