I hired S & T Home Improvements to do a Full Paint in my fiancées condo. I clearly provided all of the information & purchased the discussed amount of paint needed for them to successfully paint. I purchased 2 five gallons on interior paint, 2 gallons of plain white for baseboards and 1 gallon of good quality primer referred by Home Depot because he had two dark accent walls. This came up to over $300 and all I wanted was the labor and materials to be provided by S & T Home Improvements. I also new the the switch plate covers were old & needed to be removed so I purchased over $100 in switch plate covers/etc and a brand new towel bar for the bathroom. The work was to take approximately 2 days and they quoted me $550 which changed afterwards to $12 per hour per person with two short breaks & a lunch. This came recommended by other clients and ultimately saved them money. The work was scheduled for 8 am on Saturday however they rescheduled for 10 am. I traveled about 45 minutes to meet them and they didn't show up until 11:45 am. I once again discussed paint supply and my expectations of having the switch covers replaced. The work continues into Sunday and was due to be done by 3 pm. I messaged them and was advised it would be a little longer due to baseboards. I inquired in regards to the amount due and was quoted $485. I pulled out $500 and took my step daughter out for dinner. Once again I reached out and the time changed to 8 pm. I was so confused but stopped by the condo to check the progress. I did not see any red flags however did expect a lot more work to have been completed per the conversation staying everything was done besides the baseboards FALSE. I paid them in Full $500 and told them when they are done to place to key in the drawer and leave the door unlocked. Once again I'm contacted stating they needed to come back Tuesday to finish up. So this two day project has now been 4 days. Tuesday (today) I get a call saying they would meet me to provide the key. To make this process "easier" for them I encouraged them to download the Cash App so that I could pay them for the gallon of paint they purchased. She bills me $34 for the paint and a additional $120 in labor. At this point I expected everything to be done. I get off of work and he to Napa to find out they are still cleaning up paint from the wood floor. I decide to give them time and take my daughter to dinner. I get a message saying that they have left and forgot to install the switch plates. Are you kidding me??? I finally drive to the condo and the door is LOCKED and the key is inside the condo. I was pacing I was beyond angry and frustrated. I walk around to check Windows and make access to the inside. I'm walking around and paint is on the wood floors, dirty foot prints are in the tub and shower, equipment for the closet is removed and not reinstalled, nail holes are present, they left trash and there are multiple areas that were not painted or overlooked. My fiancé is out of town for work and I was there to take photos to put the condo on the market For Rent. I had inquired with them if they preferred the condo cleaned prior to painting. I paid a vendor to clean the condo for $300 and now I have to re-clean myself because I paid the painters $654 for 2 star work. Do Not Use S & T Home Improvements. I had good expectations that I would see a great quality job and paid them for the work however I should have waited. My fiancé inquired if they would come back to fix the issues but I do not want them to. I'm extremely disappointed :(
