FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During our initial consultation, it is important for me to get to know each students musical tastes, goals, abilities, practice routines, character, and dedication. By understanding each students specific goals and learning styles, I am able to choose a teaching method/plan that will relate to the student most effectively and enable them to reach a higher degree of performance. It is my hope that after our first meeting, you will be excited to meet your goals and to take the next step in your musical journey!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been studying music for fifteen years, taking private music lessons by age eight. During high school I had hands on experience with teaching piano to many children in my local city. In college I spent time in numerous vocal & piano pedagogy courses gathering the tools and techniques to help students learn to their maximum potential.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with a wide range of students from eight to fifty years of age. No matter where you are at in life, you are never too young or too old to start making music!
