Introduction: I am a teacher of voice, beginner guitar, and general music studies, holding a Master of Music degree in Early Music, Vocal Performance from the Longy School of Music of Bard College, where I also earned the Presidential Award in Teaching Artistry. As a folk singer-songwriter and an early music vocalist, I strive to facilitate empathic and cathartic experiences for my audiences. As a private music instructor, I carry that empathy and openness into the studio. Whether the instrument be voice or guitar, or the students be children or adults, I seek to meet those students where they are to allow for a comfortable environment for vulnerability and growth. I love connecting with humans in all stages of life and from all backgrounds, and music provides a beautiful opportunity for that. My career allows me to connect deeply with others while sharing with them what I love most.
