FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every project is unique, so pricing is based on the scope of work rather than a one-size-fits-all rate. Factors such as the number of pieces, artwork size and weight, wall construction, travel, hardware requirements, and installation complexity all affect the final price. I provide upfront pricing whenever possible, and there are never any surprise charges. My goal is to deliver museum-quality results that protect your artwork and your home or business.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I begin by learning about your goals, the space, and the artwork itself. Whenever possible, I ask for photographs of the room and the artwork before the appointment so I can prepare the proper hardware and tools. On-site, we discuss placement, spacing, and overall design before any holes are made. Once a layout is approved, I complete the installation with careful attention to precision, security, and aesthetics. Before I leave, we'll review everything together to ensure you're completely satisfied.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a degree in Illustration with a minor in Art History and have over 30 years of experience in custom picture framing, fine art, conservation framing, and professional art installation. I've been trained alongside professional interior designers and have installed artwork in homes, galleries, corporate headquarters, government facilities, and institutional environments. My experience combines technical installation knowledge with an artist's eye for composition and design.
