We first heard these guys play as the Aeroplane String Band at the Funkatorium in Asheville. My then fiancee and I were immediately taken by their renditions of John Hartford's tunes. That night we asked them if they would play our wedding and they happily agreed. Booking was easy and very professional. They played guitar and banjo during our wedding ceremony and played full band during cocktail hour. The ceremony was next to a creek amidst freshly fallen leaves - the music was the perfect touch to round out the magic of the scene.
Heavy fall rains in the weeks preceding the wedding resulted in a very loud, raging creek. We realized we would need to mic the ceremony which these guys gracefully took care of. They took care of all things audio related which made the day much easier for us.
Ben was incredibly flexible and helpful while planning the ceremony music. Our wedding guests enjoyed listening and dancing during cocktail hour. I hope we throw another big party soon so we can get these guys to come play again!

Amazing band, have worked a wedding with them and they were top notch professionals. I've also gotten a chance to see them around Asheville several times and can't recommend their music enough!

We are big fans of this group! They set a fun tone for any party. They can vary their sound from one that tends more towards rock to straight up bluegrass. Great musicians & nice guys to work with!

The library had Brushfire perform as part of their Fall Fest music on the lawn series for three years straight. The audience loved them and always requested to have them return. Great talent, a diverse collection of sounds and great to work with...Landrum Library, Landrum, SC.
