FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I quote each job on an individual basis, because each job is unique and has its own set of challenges that need to be addressed. Handling estimates in this way helps me provide the most accurate estimate, and reduces the need for change orders, along the way.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After initial contact, either via phone or email, I always insist on meeting the client and seeing the job in person. This allows me to get to know the homeowner, go over exactly what they need done. Other things I do during the first visit includes inspecting the site for potential problem areas, discussing a realistic budget for the work needing to be done, and, in the end, meeting the client in person allow them to get to know me better than any phone conversation or email would allow them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have around 15 years of hands on experience constructing segmental retaining walls and interlocking concrete pavers. Other work I have taken on over these years include tile work, hardwood flooring, landscaping, some small carpentry and remodeling projects.
