Teaching and coaching is my bread and butter. I love the work I do as a professional director, but working with students is what brings me the most joy.
I most value finding a strong balance between strengthening the craft and building confidence and individualism with my students. It's deeply important to me that students feel safe and valued while they are working and we together will unearth what is most powerful about each person's acting instrument using text or song.
It is most satisfying to see a student breakthrough with a piece and finally find what makes them, who they are. After all, acting is just you in the circumstances, so let's create a room where you are free to champion whatever that is.
