The most unprofessional "pro" I've ever met--didn't keep my dog the whole time, got back a dog who is now going to the bathroom in the house, acting more freaked out--screamed at me in front of my kids and a friend of mine, insulted me as well as other trainers I've worked with.. I could go on and on

Unfortunately this client has a 10 month old golden retriever who has been previously trained using aversive techniques and is now, at only 10 months old aggressive towards other dogs, people and even bit the owner. This client wants a "quick" fix and does not want to hear that desensitization and counter conditioning will now take a long time to fix, if at all. The pup did very well under my training and became less fearful and much more playful and learned all the basic obedience skills that were never taught. When the pup was returned to the client, the pup did not want to enter the home and then the client reported the pup had 4 accidents in the house after being returned. It was obvious the pup was not happy in that environment. This client had 3 previous trainers before me and blames them all for the dogs present behaviors. The pup is banned from Petco, and was crated all day within 10 minutes of going to another doggie day care program before this client requested my services. Unfortunately this is not a quick fix for this poor pup and the owner does not want to hear that.
