FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am mannerable, responsive, cordial, and punctual. It is important that the customer feels like they can depend on me and trust that I can do the job.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I trained as a percussionist for 7 years. I was classically trained. I also learned how to play Pop, Rock, R&B, Soul, and orchestral music. I trained to be a DJ at the Scratch DJ Academy in Atlanta. I incorporate all of my musical knowledge and skills into all of my DJ sets.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was younger, I would mix and blend different types of music together on my laptop. Eventually I started mixing on DJ equipment, since I loved it so much. A year ago I joined the Scratch DJ Academy in Atlanta, because I wanted to learn more about the culture and the fundamentals of mixing and scratching on turntables. Throughout the year I learned a lot from some of the best DJs in Atlanta. On May 27th I graduated from the academy and I performed at the Music Room in Atlanta.
