L.A. Blaze

Introduction: “Supplier of top-quality music, excitement and an upbeat atmosphere” Those were the words that L.A. Blaze used to describe himself as a DJ. The Atlanta based DJ grew up listening to his parent’s collection of R&B music (Anita Baker, Earth, Wind & Fire, Marvin Gaye), Funk music (Sly & the Family Stone, James Brown, Isley Brothers, Ohio Players), and Jazz (Miles Davis, John Coltrane). He was also exposed to orchestral and classical music when he trained as a percussionist. He developed a love and a passion for each of those types of music, including Hip Hop, Pop, and Rock. Nowadays, this translates into live sets where he selects and blends together different pieces of music he loves. He enjoys playing opening sets just as much as peak hour sets at venues. His main goal is to share his passion for music and move the crowd to dance. His musical versatility allows him to bring the excitement of the club to any type of venue, whether it be a wedding, corporate party, or school dance. “I enjoy playing the type of music that gets people tapping their feet and nodding their head without even noticing it. It doesn’t matter what genre it is. I spin all kinds of music from Pop to House, Hip Hop to R&B, from Reggae to Reggaeton, etc.”
