Introduction: My name is Dan Gardner. I have performed for millions of viewers on television (11 times on NBC's Today show), radio, theater, and the stage. I've worked and recorded with many music producers including, David Foster and Jim Brickman. I have over 22 years of experience in teaching, performing and studying voice. I was a voice major in college, and I teach all styles, all levels, and all ages. I have studied, performed and recorded classical, pop, jazz, rhythm and blues, classic rock, country, folk, christian and other genres. If you are interested in private professional voice lessons to grow as a musician, to become a better performer, for fun or because singing is just something you enjoy, please come see me. I enjoy working with students of all ages and experience levels. My students range from beginners to professional recording and concert artist. My unique style of teaching brings out the best in my students. I teach all genres of music. Through proper training we will improve your range, ear, pitch, tone and coloring. For context, I'm a 30 year old male software engineer who's never taken voice lessons before. First, I'll just say that Dan is a phenomenal instructor. Before I found Dan, I had been trying to teach myself to sing via on-line, pre-recorded lessons for probably half a year. I had convinced myself I didn't need voice lessons because I'm a successful self-taught guitarist and drummer, but after *really* trying to improve and getting frustrated with my lack of results I decided to suck it up and pay for a coach. I found Dan and after working with him twice a week for 5 months now I am literally astonished at the amount of improvement I've made. Full disclosure, I don't even practice between lessons anymore because the quality of his live feedback is so on-point that I'm more than happy with the results I see from those two live sessions. YMMV with that approach though! Dan has been doing this a long time, and has helped me achieve really great results in such a short period of time. I promise he's worth the money. Plus he's a really great guy and has a dog that's there for every lesson.

I started with Dan after 3 1/2 years of voice training elsewhere. He's taking my skills to new levels. Great teaching skills, terrific practice instructions, good ear, vested in his students' improvements, flexible in suggesting new approaches, personable, efficient, each lesson is packed with information and instruction. Can't be happier to have found him. Highly recommend him to anyone serious in learning to sing.

I am taking my 7 yr old grandson to Dan because he has a real interest in singing. Dan is absolutely wonderful. He is aware of my grandson's situation and works with him perfectly. We have only been twice but hope for a long relationship. I researched Dan's bio before deciding on him and was very impressed with his work. So glad we found him.

My pricing is based on my experience and background. I have a degree in music and I've been teaching and producing for a long time. I've performed on television, radio and the live stage all over the world.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 15 years of classical vocal training along with a BA degree in Vocal Performance from EMU. I have over 22 years of experience performing and recording all genres of music. I've worked and recorded with David Foster/Warner Brother Records, Jim Brickman and many other well known music producers. I've performed all over the world as a soloist and recording artist.
What types of customers have you worked with?
My clientele ranges from beginners to professional recording and performing artists. I work with all ages. Currently, my youngest is 6 and my oldest client is 74. I love working with a variety of clients and genres. It makes for a fun learning environment.
