I've attended two different events, so far, catered by Palate Catering Company; a wedding, and a graduation celebration. One indoors, with a full kitchen and large group of attendees. The other, a smaller group, outdoor park enviroment with picnic tables. Heather and Mike's company did a fantastic job at both. Hot entrees and cold at both events were perfect, delicious, and beautiful. Palate Catering will definately please you at any special event with their professional service and deliciously prepared dishes.

Palate Catering did a wonderful job for us over Labor Day weekend of 2015. They were our mainstay caterers for a destination wedding with 70 guests and prepared six delicious and creative meals for us including an opening night barbecue cook-out and a wildly popular omelette station for breakfasts. Heather, Mike and their staff are a joy to work with and we recommend them highly.

Heather and Michael were wonderful during my May wedding. The food was soo good. All of my guest were happy and asking about them. I have been to other events where they have catered and they never let you down. The food is absolutely amazing!

Palate did an incredible job catering a long weekend of meals for our ~50 wedding guests over Labor Day weekend 2015! They went above and beyond our expectations and provided delicious hot buffet breakfasts, a picnic lunch, a buffet dinner and a BBQ cookout dinner that everyone just loved. They made lots of dishes from scratch including yummy veggie burgers. We had a number of guests with dietary restrictions and they made sure there was something for everyone. And catering outside in the forest is not a simple task! Heather and Mike are a pleasure to work with, and their attention to detail is exceptional. Highly recommended!

Heather and Mike helped us throw the best engagement party for my brother-in-law! Everyone had a blast and LOVED the food! Heather and Mike took care of everything and went above and beyond all my expectations with the decor the provided, the food they made, the attention to details, and the awesome service they provided! The made the party go smoothly and made sure everyone had a blast and best of all, they made sure everything was taken care of so that i didn't have to worry about a thing and was able to just enjoy the party! They kept things picked up and clean during the party, they kept everyones drinks full, they kept all the food stations stocked and looking great, and they cleaned everything up and even packaged leftovers for my refrigerator before they left! I can't wait to have another reason to hire Heather and Mike again!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to ask the guest what type of service they are looking for and for what type of venue. Once we have established this we can then come up with a few different ideas and menu choices for them. We typically do a per person estimate with all the extras included in our quotes, such as equipment, labor, and travel. We do a breakdown of these items so that is it very clear on the cost.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have been in the food industry for 20+ years and are very knowledgeable in customer service as well as the culinary field.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have done a lot of charity events and non profit events as well as some very high end catering. We are preferred caterers for the Union Hotel in La Porte California and have done weekend long caterings. Breakfast, lunch and dinner all in the same day.
