I find it extremely important that my clients have a sincere confidence in my abilities. I know that by ensuring their trust, if they feel good, nothing is going to hinder them on any stage or in front of any camera. Most of my experience has been acquired in many different Professional AND freelance projects, but MOST of my work falls in: Film/Stage/TV, Beauty/Bridal/Prom, Editorial, Performance Art, Special FX I believe that it isn't my job to "create something beautiful", but only to enhance or unveil the beauty of every individual I get the pleasure of working with. I find that I feel at ease when I can not only give the director, artist, model, performer, etc. what they want, but exceed their expectations. It is my job to make sure they feel nothing short of exactly what they need.

I had such an amazing expereince with Alexis. She was so professional and really listened to what I wanted and was able to go above and beyond to make me look pretty on my big day! I think trusting your makeup to someone else on a special day can be such a scary thing sometimes but she did SUCH an phenomenal job! I loved the way I looked, it was exactly what I wanted! My Bridesmaids looked amazing too and loved her so much, her skill and talent is totally 100% above and beyond her price. She was amazing! We had a blast with her and I am so so glad we decided to book her for my big day, there is no one other than her that I will ever trust with my makeup again! She is just so talented and has such a great calming presence, I will definitely book her again the future.

Alexis exceeded all my expectations. I can't believe I almost did my OWN makeup!!!She was prepared for absolutely everything and the talked about everything beforehand. when we met for a "try on" we even found something I loved more!!! I wish she still lived close by, I would have her do my daughter's makeup for prom! Thank you Alexis! You are a gem!

Cannot say enough good things about Alexis. Not only was her work beautiful, but she managed to somehow make my gorgeous wife even more like an angel---she really is amazing. I would definitely reccommend her for any special occasion. And the price was more than reasonable!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$$TRUST ME. I am on the EXTREMELY affordable CSRA side of things$$ Payment can different on certain details. So I would rather discuss it. We will discuss everything. No hidden fees. All good ;o) I am a PRO MUA but currently most freelance work comes from: *Proms (Can Include Prom Party) *WEDDINGS!! (Includes Bridal Party) *Quinceaneras *Anniversaries *Birthdays *Birthday Gift
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Much of this info can be included for Prom AND Weddings: We will have 2 rehearsal makeup trials before the Big day. If you cannot have 2 rehearsal trials, we MUST at least have one. I will also need a trial will your Brides Maids. Otherwise I cannot do their makeup. Not trying to be mean, just trying to be safe!!!! :) Wedding Day---we will be starting EARLY so you will have time to feel pampered and you will not be rushed. The bride is of MOST importance!!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My career in makeup began when I was 21 (2006) when I took a Beginner's Makeup class for my BA Theater Program. Within 3 months I was sought out for my skills and was now being hired to do both makeup and prosthetic work for the MainStage shows. All in all, I was in charge of about 7 shows as well as beauty makeup for local film and television. 1 year later I was soon given a mentor, Sara Vance, a former lead Makeup Artist from Hollywood, and quickly learned more of my advanced training. This is also where I began my Special FX education. After Graduation I moved to Georgia and was quickly asked to start teaching workshops in Tennessee annually. 2011 I was asked to teach in Edinburgh, Scotland to do a Workshop for a Performing Arts School. 2013-Now I continue to Workshop Classes, as well as Online Workshops My classes usually consist of makeup for Stage or for Film, I give personal beauty makeup lessons for ALL ages (13-70+) Throughout the year I am a freelancer for Proms, Special Occasions, Workshops, Quinceaneras, Halloween, etc.
