Kevin has been my ukulele teacher for more than three years, and in that time, thanks to his patience and skill as as a teacher and musician, I've gone from not knowing anything about the ukulele to mastering advanced techniques on "the coolest little instrument on the planet!" I've seen Kevin teach small groups of adults like me and rooms full of little kids and he takes just the right approach for every situation. He customizes lessons based on the students' goals and skills so everyone can have fun learning what they want to learn. I've checked out other teachers, both in person and online, and Kevin is the best! His passion for teaching music is sincere but never overbearing or intimidating like some teachers. The methods of learning and practicing that he has shared have enabled me to progress way beyond what I ever thought possible. Not only has he taught me how to play the ukulele, he's opened my mind and ears to the fun of discovering new music and the pleasure of getting out and hearing more live music. The joy of making music is now part of my life, thanks to Kevin!

I am interested in playing the ukulele. I have had no past experience with the instrument, however, Kevin has helped me accomplish my goals. Kevin is a professional musician/performer who is able to present material that is easy to understand, interesting and challenging. I highly recommend Kevin's work as a ukulele or guitar teacher.

Kevin has worked with my daughter for three years as first her ukelele teacher and then her guitar teacher. She had background in piano but as a middle school student was losing interest. She suggested uke lessons and Kevin has made her love music again. He alloes her to follow her own musical interests when choosing songs while pushing her tecnical areas. Besides her amazing growth and progress, she genuinely enjoys the person Kevin is and looks to him now for guidance in other musical pursuits. I would recommend him highly!
