Shannon, it was an absolute delight working with you and your girlfriends. And the dock and weather was perfect; so much fun to massage at. Cant wait until the next ladies weekend. ;-)

- How did you get started doing this type of work?I always had an innate ability with massage. In high school and college I was always giving massages to classmates and wanted to pursue it as a career but was concerned of the longevity of such a 'luxury' career. It wasn't until after I had served several years in EMS, that I realized how important and not a 'luxury' massage is and decided it was time to see and take care of people before they reach those critical times in life.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?First, PLEASE BE SERIOUS ABOUT your REQUEST before directly reaching out to any professional on here. For every professional you try to contact, they are charged for the connection whether you decide to follow through or not. As an LMT, I am charged almost $10 per person that contacts me through Thumbtack. So please, be courteous, don't contact me unless you're serious about booking an appt after looking at my profile. Otherwise it gets costly very quickly and all for nothing. Thank you in advance. Now back to massage... Second, WHAT are you WANTING to ACHIEVE with your session? Are you looking for relaxation? Stress reduction? Pain management? Increased range of motion? Sports event preparation/recovery? Surgical preperation/recovery? Reduce signs/symptoms from diseases/conditions? Etc? On the financial side, WHAT is your HEALTH WORTH? What INVESTMENT are you willing and able to make in order to achieve the goals noted above? You want to consider these questions and then look over your therapist options to see if they have the training and expertise to help you and if you're willing to make the investment they ask for to acheive it.
