Introduction: I have more than 20 years in carpentry and construction. Several years of that were in remodeling, including replacing and installing windows, doors, drywall, flooring, cabinets, complete remodels of kitchens and baths, and basement finishing. I also build picnic tables, patio furniture and custom furniture including shelves and end tables. I take pride in my work, and give every job the kind of attention and care I would take in my own home. I love to help each homeowner make their vision a reality. Most projects I charge by the hour. Some things I can quote a flat price after talking with the customer to determine exactly what they need done.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to speak to a customer, meet them and discuss the work they need done and what their expectations are. Usually it's good to start with a phone call or in-person meeting to go over details and answer any questions the customer has about me, my skills and experience, pricing, and any other concerns they may have.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 20 years of experience in carpentry, construction, remodeling, and building. I specialize in stairs and handrail, and finish carpentry and trim.
