FAQs

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I apprenticed for the over a year with a local bridal design shop learning the ends and outs of event planning and I am currently enrolled in a certification program as well taking many continuing education classes to develop my skills.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been a creative and a planner. It seems to just come naturally to me. It all started when my children were young and I planned Birthday parties for them with no detail left unattended. From wanted posters to pirate maps, everything was themed perfectly. I knew then that one day I would be a wedding planner.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Most recently, I created a Rockabilly Bride theme for a style shoot. My inspiration was a Retro RV park called Junebug Retro Resorts. I created an entire Rockabilly Theme and coordinated many vendors for a successful shoot.
