FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For furniture it varies because of the different styles and finishes but for murals I charge by sqft. and details.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Iwhen a potential customer reaches out to me I first find out what they are needing. I ask if they have a vision for their project and if not I find out what their style is by asking the right questions. Also I like to find out what their budget for the project is and I do everything they want in that budget or below. If I can't do that I make them aware that it's starting to meet the budget before I go on with letting them add to the work. Next, I start a work order with all the information and the prices and I send it to the customer. As soon as I receive it back with their signed name and date of signature along with their deposit, I start the work. I either go out to them and f o the work if it's a mural or painting at their home or business and if it's furniture I go out to wherever the furniture piece is and pick it up and take it back to my shop to paint. There are times the customer doesn't have the furniture piece yet so I find what they are looking for at a great price and transform it the way the customer requested.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have ano Associates Degree in art. I have done painting seriously since I was age 10 and have always played with different techniques for painting furniture and walls.
