Introduction: My approach is to improve my clients' health whether it's by weight loss, being more physically active, reducing stress levels, or all of the above - a process where together we'll also improve your emotional and physical wellbeing! It is a very hands-on individual program. My clients learn NOT TO DIET, NOT TO COUNT CALORIES, NOT TO HAVE CRAVINGS AND TO NEVER GO HUNGRY! I do, however, encourage a high-protein, low-carb diet, and a regular physical activity that really help in achieving weight loss and better health goals. My clients are able to shed the pounds and feel better as a result of a gradual change in their daily lives, until those changes become habitual with lifelong effect on themselves and their families. We talk about nutrition, about their habits (and addictions), we also workout together, go grocery shopping together, and sometimes even cook together. There are times when I come to their homes and make suggestions for some rearrangement of their kitchens, so that they don't mindlessly eat. Some clients like to have a regimented daily meal plan (so that they know exactly what to eat and at what time), and some like to have the freedom to create their own menus. Each one is different, and I work differently with each one. I work with people that live in the Boston area, but also with people in other states and countries, thanks to Skype and FaceTime. When I see my clients transform their lives, lose weight and get rid of recurring debilitating conditions, I feel their happiness. Their success is my success!

First I'd like to start with the fact that Sigal is a wonderful listener. She could sit down with me and listen for hours at a time to all I had to say about my being overweight and other issues I'd encountered at the time. I had gained a lot of weight after the birth of my 3rd child, and she really helped me be in control over my cravings, change my behavior from mindlessly eating to mindlessly losing weight. She helped me get in shape and find the right kind of physical activity that I like (Yeh, Spinning!). And yes, I not only lost the weight, but I also don't have high cholesterol and high blood pressure any more. She's a great coach and whatever she charges you - she's more than worth it! I wholeheartedly endorse her.

Sigal has taught me so much about what to eat, how to eat it, how to be good to myself in so many ways. I feel so much better now. I lost 20 pounds over the past 8 months, and I also lost my migraine headaches and my debilitating stomach aches. good riddance! she's an amazing counselor. Thank you Sigal

I had counseling from Sigal after giving birth to my son, when I was trying to find the right diet for both nursing and getting back to my pre-pregnancy weight. Sigal helped me achieve these goals, with a wonderful side effect of improving my energy levels. She is extremely knowledgeable and professional, as well as a nice and warm person. Highly recommended!

I've known Sigal for a long time, through a mutual friend. She helped us deal with my daughter's weight, as well as eating disorders, and I found her advise and entire approach, very professional and helpful. There was a time family meals were a nightmare, and today we actually enjoy them. My husband and I had such a great time working with Sigal. She understood us so well. After 6 months in her program we lost most of the weight we wanted to, and we are now living a much healthier life, thanks to her. Even though we are seniors, apparently old dogs can learn new tricks!
