Introduction: I use a method developed by my Dad, who was 'THE' piano teacher in Newton, MA. You learn easily and quickly to play all types of music. There is no one source of material and you'll be developing a notebook of your material as you go along. This method is used solely by me in CT. You'd be coming to my Bloomfield home, right off Filley St. I hope to hear from you soon. Beverly Silver Students come to my home, where there are no distractions and we can concentrate on learning .I've taught music for over 30 years and love seeing my students progress and learning to love playing the piano (and for those students interested in developing their singing voice, I also am thrilled to be a vocal coach, especially for young voices.) Bev Silver is a great piano teacher per my 14 year old son who has been taking lessons since he was 10!

The student in question has learning disabilities which I adjusted my teaching style to. As with all my students, I am able to teach students of many learning styles and abilities as long as they want to learn to play the piano. The student also was one my my elementary school 2nd graders while I was in my last year of teaching before I retired. He continued with me as his piano teacher into his high school years. He was actually younger that 10 when he started! Hi mother was thrilled with the level he was able to reach and pieces he learned to play with me as his teacher, despite have reading disabilities.
