- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
In-Home Dog Training Rates for Dogs and Puppies: Locations up to 15 miles from PAWSitive Solutions: $525 Locations over 15 miles from PAWSitive Solutions: $600 At PAWSitive Solutions: $450 All packages include 3 Lessons. The first lesson lasts 1½ 2 hours; the other lessons are one hour. Boarding Rates: $40.00 per dog a night. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For training a new dog with a new customer, the typical process includes a detailed consultation to determine the needs of the client as well as their dog. After the consultation, we decide what program fits the dog and the client the best. For boarding a new dog with a new customer, the typical process includes discussing the dog's needs, personality, requirements, as well as offering optional grooming. We do require all dogs to have current vaccination needs met.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA). I am also a Professional Premium Member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT). The Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers has high standards requiring 300 hours of dog training experience, references, and successfully passing a rigorous certification exam. CPDT-KA (Knowledge Assessed) maintains their credentials through continued education.
